Mother Earth is a ticking bomb; we really don’t know when it says stop and can’t take it anymore. Things are happening among us, on earth, today. Climate has change a lot the latest 100 years and even more the latest 50 years. And people are aware of that it’s still changing. Dangerous pollution and cars are just some examples of the reasons to these changes. I will make a try in explaining people’s standpoints but also why people’s realisation came so late, when it comes to climate changing. Don’t we really care about the climate changes at all?
First reason, I think, is that the changes on the world have been very small and it takes a while to see a change and because of that it was difficult to see what happened at first. It’s probably in the latest years that we, ordinary people, have been aware of that our planet is suffering. It is in the latest decades we have been seeing the major changes on climate and the world so therefore the changes are so big now. Of course our easy-going lifestyle of today is a big reason to the climate changes. We have our city-jeeps and drive our cars everywhere. We have a lot more discharges from pollution today and that also affects the world.
Second reason is that we, ordinary people and not the professionals who have been warning about what happened to our world and how the climate have changed, probably think that this climate changing don’t strikes us and we can’t really see the changes so because of that it is difficult to understand the vast problems. It becomes a real problem when we can see living proofs that the climate changes strikes our nature. As an example there were much news, some time ago, about the polar ices and we could se the ice melting on TV and see it in the newspapers. When we saw real proofs it became real and then we thought it was terrible and what we could do about it was probably a common thought.
Third reason is that all these things that are happening to our world and all the dangerous discharges of pollution, mainly from carbon dioxide are hard to understand I think. It is hard to understand what is happening to our nature and of course the fact that climate is changing. Scientists have been warning about these facts for a long time but we have to have in mind that they are the professionals and they know what will happen because of that. It is not easy for ordinary people to know what will happen and which discharges are dangerous to Mother Earth. However many people knows a lot about all dangerous facts. Lots of people actually are very aware of the consequences dangerous discharges will make on nature and live lives were they think about these facts. But still I think that how climate is changing is hard to understand.
Last of all; I do think that most of the people in the world do care about Mother Earth and the fact that climate is changing. I do care about our planet and how discharge affects it. I see that something is happening which is not good for the nature but I think that this is hard to understand. Some scientists have said that our planets have natural climate changes; it goes up and down and has always done. Ok, maybe some changes are natural but all this dangerous discharges that are being made by human forces, in a matter of fact right now, are not good at all. And we need to think about this before nature says stop.

Blog Assignment #2: The Fascination of a TV Series
I think we can say what we want about TV and to much TV-watching but nothing is like a good TV Series or a another good program. I think it has something to do with an escape, an escape to a place or a world where you don’t need to think so much. Or, of course, in a crime story you have to think a lot about who was killed and who will be killed next? But it is an escape to something else; you can forget all needs in life for a short while. Nevertheless now I am going to tell you about my favourite TV Series.
Firstly I am completely enamoured in a good British crime story. And it has to be British. The British beautiful countryside has enchanted me totally and all these series always remember me of how much I would like to go to Britain. British crimes that I love are for example The Inspector Lynley mysteries, Wire in the Blood, Silent Witness and of course Midsomer Murders. Nothing is like a sweet summer night, when the day ends with the charming crime story Midsomer Murders where Detective Chef Inspector Barnaby and his faithful companion Jones always solves new murders every week in the fictive Midsomer, probably England’s most dangerous place to live on. And I can’t forget to mention the beautiful theme song that follows every episode, which give the program something extra and exciting every week.
Secondly I must say Så ska det låta because it is a fantastic Swedish “all come together” family program. I am very interested in music and singing and therefore this, of course, is an ultimate “feel good experience” for me. The intro is the best part I think where Swedish singers are supposed to sing out load when they now the answer of what song and so do I. It has become a sport for me to sing out loud before the famous singers in the program do. These 58 minutes of happiness are always ending to fast and next Friday is never so far away as then. A good thing is that I can watch it on svt play again and again if my need is too big.
Last of all I remember some series I watched as a child; Rederiet, Tre Kronor, Skilda Världar and the American Series Sunset Beach. I was completely taken by these series. However, I am not a big fan of these kinds of series, or soap operas, today. I think that the fascination came because it was something new for me. I had never watched something like this before and it was so fantastic. But in some years we had so many of these series and then it was too much for me. Little house on the Prairies was my favourite Series when I was a little wee girl and I always watched it with Grandmother and my sister, a lovely time I think.
Good TV Series are nothing to disdain I think. In other words, what should we do without them? There are so many different Series which I can’t count and I think it is good that we all are different. Because then will probably all of us find something that we love and need to follow every week. And nothing is like waiting for a great Series; it gives me a fantastic feeling. At the same time we can look at the aspect of learning English when watching an American or British Series and that is not bad at all.

Blog Assignment #1: Childhood Memories
Children of today live in a world surrounded by good things and bad things. Adults wants to protect their kids from touching bad things but also let them try all the good things in the world, but we can’t always protect our kids. It is important, I think, that we give all children the tools so they have the best possibilities to live and experience a good and interesting life. Which are these important tools for children?
The most important tool for children in life is love. Children are hopefully surrounded with love from their birth until the end of life. Love will strengthen children and I think it is important to make them understand that they are unique and they serve as they are. I hope that all children in the world have a lot of experiences connected to love. I remember my own childhood as warm and loving and I lived in a secure world were mother and father protected me from all dangerous things in life. I wish that all children in the world can feel this security and love from their families and people around them. Adults have the responsibilities to take care of their children or take decisions that will lead to the best for them.
Respect people and they will get respect in return is the second tool for children experiencing world. Children need to be learned that they have to respect people and respect the fact that we all can have different views and thoughts but they don’t need to think and share the same thoughts. If they learn to respect people they will get respect in return. Respect is something they will get in touch with early in life and if they have a lot of experiences with respect it will be easier to think of it. All people are unique and I hope children will learn that if they show respect, are kind and good they will live a happy life and they will get all these things in return. This is what I have learned from my family and other important people in my nearness. This is what I and other adults need to learn the children.
Feel and think that they can do anything is the third tool. Encourage, praise and support are important for children so they have the courage to try different things in life. I have always heard in my childhood that I can do anything I want, it will not always be easy but you will make it. I hope that adults don’t forget to encourage, praise and support the children so they feel that they can do anything. But life isn’t always easy and children will face reverses and feel that life is hard, but once again if they feel support from adults and other people in their nearness they will face the problems and hopefully solve them. All reverses and prosperities will give children perspective on life and be experiences they’ll never forget.
These three tools are necessary for children when they are experiencing life, I think. My point of views comes from my own childhood and how I was brought up and learned. I really think that if children feel love, they respect people and they think that they can succeed with whatever they come up with, they will live a life they can be proud of and they will enjoy it. We can’t always protect our children, they have to experience life, but we can give them the tools so they can protect themselves.
